Imagine a City with Deep Blue Sea with dolphins swimming around and a mini Island which seems to have risen from the bottom of the Sea and form this beautiful White Sand Bar. This is the best way to describe the adventures you could encounter in Bais City, a City of Blue and White a very magnificent scene that your eyes should see, and how this beautiful city got its name is also an amazing story. Bais is one of the major cities which produce sugar cane in Oriental Negros, with fertile flatlands and rich fishing grounds were reported to the Spanish Colonizers, when they heard this they sent out an engineer to look for this Island and create a map for it. When the engineer reached the mouth of the river he saw people gathering an abundant fresh water eel locally called “bais”, when he Spanish engineer asked in Spanish what is the name of the place the people did not understand what he was talking about and thought that the engineer was asking about what they were catching from the river
